We are experienced reproductive physicians and have been working with couples with infertility and pregnancy loss for many years. Through our work at university clinics, we know the challenges of finding the right care. We want to change that with Fertia.

How can Fertia Diagnostics help me as a patient?

We have been running specialist university consultations in reproductive medicine for years and therefore know very well how stressful it can be to experience an unfulfilled desire to have children or miscarriages. It is often a challenge to find the right support, especially when long waiting times and limited availability make the situation even more complicated.

In “MedProfile” you will find your personal medical area. Under “Diagnostics”, you can start your diagnostics and access the diagnostics guide:

Knowledge

Knowledge content that provides medical expertise in understandable language is compiled individually for you. In Fertia Knowledge you can fill out interactive questionnaires, browse through categories or use the free text search. Our goal is for you to be able to obtain optimal information for the consultation so that your questions can be answered in a targeted manner

Anamnesis | Registration | Appointment

Our medical questionnaires guide you through relevant health areas.
This is followed by the registration, payment and consent to the treatment contract.
Thereafter you will do an Appointment scheduling for a video consultation one of our doctors.

Consultation #1 | Diagnostic plan

In the first consultation we will discuss the details you gave us and thereby understand your fertility journey. You will then receive an individual medical diagnosis plan directly in the app.

With the diagnostic plan, we will refer you to your treating gynaecologist or GP to have any pending examinations carried out. You enter the results directly into your medProfile in the app. Once everything is complete, arrange the next consultation with our team of doctors in the app.

Consultation #2 | Doctor's letter

Your doctor will explain the findings and diagnoses with you in detail and discuss possible therapeutic options. After completing the consultation, you will receive a detailed doctor's letter, which contains all results and recommendations for further therapy. This letter exists in a patient friendly language, and on for your doctors.

How much does Fertia diagnostics cost?

The costs consist of medical services and the Fertia service fee:

Medical services: Billing according to the schedule of fees for doctors (GOÄ), reimbursement from private health insurance. If you are insured under a statutory health insurance fund, you must pay the benefits as a self-pay benefit*.

*However, this billing method does not cover the actual costs of our services. Our goal is to significantly improve care structures across the board in the area of fertility and miscarriages. For this reason, we are actively working with statutory health insurance companies to make Fertia Diagnostic services available to all women and couples who wish to have children, regardless of their social status.

Fertia provides you with rapid diagnostics and individual treatment recommendations in accordance with the latest guidelines. We guarantee short waiting times and are there for you regardless of where you live, in a personal and trusting atmosphere through our team of fertility experts.

Our doctors have many years of experience, have worked in fertility departments of renowned university hospitals for more than 10 years, conducted special consultations for couples with recurrent pregnancy loss, are scientifically active and familiar with the latest studies and developments.

Your medical advice is provided exclusively by qualified doctors. After completing the treatment, you will receive a doctor's letter with all findings and recommendations.

What am I not getting from Fertia?

However, in some cases, it may be necessary to seek support from a fertility center to become pregnant.

We can serve as an ideal and uncomplicated starting point and alleviate your fears if the step of currently introducing yourself to a fertility center seems too big. Should an introduction to our colleagues prove useful after our consultation, our diagnosis serves as an ideal preparation.

You can then bring our Fertia doctor's letter directly to the fertility center and are certainly perfectly prepared for the next step.

From our personal experience, we know how difficult it is for patients with infertility and recurrent pregnancy loss to find suitable care. Long waiting times in available specialist consultations often stand in the way of a quick clarification. The high level of complexity, particularly in the case of recurrent pregnancy loss, requires intensive and time-consuming advice, which is not always possible.

How does Fertia work for me as a gynaecologist?

We will personally support your patient in her reproductive medical consultation. She receives an initial doctor's letter (diagnostic plan) from us, which recommends tests based on guidelines. We would appreciate it if you could perform these tests. We will discuss the findings in detail with the patient. After the second video consultation, you will receive another detailed doctor's letter from us. We are always available to answer any questions you may have.

Start: Procedure until the video consultation

Your patient receives the Hope app free of charge. The anamnesis is collected using specially developed, guideline-based questionnaires. After registration, payment and consent to the treatment contract, the patient makes an appointment for our medical video consultation.

Knowledge

Medically validated knowledge content that provides medical expertise in understandable language is compiled individually for the patient in the app.

Diagnostic plan

After the initial consultation, the patient receives a diagnostic plan with which she comes to you. Here, we kindly ask you to carry out the recommended tests and provide the patient's findings.

The findings of these investigations are sent to us directly via the app and a further appointment is made in our video consultation.

Doctor's consultation 2 | Doctor's letter

We explain the findings and diagnoses in detail and discuss possible treatment options. The patient will receive a detailed doctor's letter, which she will present to you.
